Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009047079A1] The invention relates to an ice dispensing system for a refrigerator (1), having a container (10) for storing pieces of ice, which has a positioning shaft (22) for actuating a closure means (23) of the container (10) and can be inserted into a receptacle (13) by an inserting movement until it is in an operating position in which the positioning shaft (22) is coupled with an actuator (32) provided on the receiving side. To ensure coupling of the positioning shaft (22) to the actuator (32), or to ensure coupling upon reinsertion of the container (10) even when the positioning shaft (22) is in an angular position that has changed in comparison with its angular position when the container (10) was removed, an adjusting means (33) is proposed, with the effect that the inserting movement of the container (10) causes said adjusting means to bring the positioning shaft (22) and the actuator (32) into a mutually adjusted position in which the positioning shaft (22) can be coupled with the actuator (10).
