Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2923001A1] The method involves cooling natural gas in a pipe (1') by water, and introducing the cooled gas in a fractionator (2) to separate a gas phase rich in methane and a liquid phase rich in hydrocarbon heavier than ethane. The liquid and gas phases at the bottom and top of fractionator are drawn off and removed, respectively. The gas phase is liquefied to produce a condensate and a gas stream. Operating conditions of the fractionator are chosen such that the liquid phase has a methane molar quantity that ranges between 10 and 150 percentages of a molar quantity of ethane in the liquid phase.
