[origin: EP2206450A1] The rail (10) has a central section (11) and two end sections (12) that are arranged at opposite sides, and retaining strips provided at the end sections for assembling fasteners for hanging a cabinet. The end sections are strengthened in relation to the central section, where the end sections have larger material thickness or made of higher rigidity material. The end sections are fixed at the central section over the fasteners. The end sections are made of sheet metal, and a protruding stopper is formed at an end side of the end sections.
