Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2206668A1] The device (1) has an actuation device (40) for opening and closing two set of grippers (12, 22) such that objects (2) are transferred from one set of grippers to another set of grippers in a transfer region (T). Distances (d1, d1') between the former set in front of the region are smaller than distances between the latter set. The distances of the former set in the region are reduced with respect to the distances of the former set in front of the region or the distances of the latter set in the region are increased with respect to the distances of the latter set in front of the region. An independent claim is also included for a method for transferring a flexible flat object between two conveyors.
