Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2206853A2] The base element (100) has a formed material, where an upper side (110) is provided with a pre-determined surface area. Each edge (130) of the base element has a lateral surface (131), where multiple connecting elements (160) are arranged. The connecting elements extend horizontally outward from the lateral surface, such that a gap is formed between the opposite edges of the base element in joined condition. The base element is made of wood or plastic composite material.
