The head has an external ferrule (20) including a flared portion (22) and a cylindrical portion (24), and mobile adjusting pads (44c, 44d) presenting a sliding face sliding along an external face of the flared portion of the ferrule and a contact face (46) in relation to an internal wall of a tunnel. A jack (50) moves each pad between an inactive position and a set of active positions. The contact face of the pad is completely placed inside a cylinder of diameter (Do) in the inactive position. A part of the contact face of the pad is at an exterior of the cylinder in the active positions. An independent claim is also included for a tunnel construction equipment comprising a drilling machine.

L'invention concerne une tête de forage comprenant : - une tête de coupe rotative (26) ; - un arbre (40) de mise en rotation ; - une virole externe (20) de révolution autour de l'arbre de mise en rotation, présentant une première extrémité ouverte tournée vers la tête de coupe, ladite virole comprenant, à partir de sa première extrémité, une première portion de forme évasée (22) dont le diamètre va en diminuant lorsqu'on s'éloigne de ladite première extrémité ouverte et une deuxième portion (24) de forme sensiblement cylindrique ; - au moins un patin de réglage (44a à 44d) mobile présentant une première face de glissement (48) apte à glisser le long de la face externe de ladite première portion (22) de la virole et une face de contact (46) en relation avec la paroi interne du tunnel ; et
