Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2206912A2] The fuel injector has a multi-part injection valve element (18) adjustable between a closed and an open position. A part (19) is guided in another part (24), and the coupling volume (50) is connected with an injector volume (12) by a choke arrangement (52), which is formed such that the discharge volume flow increases only marginally with increasing pressure difference between the coupling volume and injector volume.
