Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009056234A1] The invention relates to a floor vacuum cleaner (1) comprising a housing (2), a suction hose (5) that can be connected to the housing (2), an optional handle (6), a suction pipe (7), an a suction attachment (12). The suction pipe (7) has at least two pipe sections (8, 9) that can be detached from one another. The upper end (91) of an upper pipe section (9) can be coupled to the suction hose (5) or the handle (6), and the lower end (82) of a lower pipe section (8) can be coupled to the suction attachment (12). The lower pipe section (8) and/or the suction attachment (12) can be mounted on the housing (2) in a parked position with the help of first holding means (14). In order to allow the suction pipe to be placed in the parked position in a simple, inexpensive, and compact manner, another holding means (100) is disposed on the upper pipe section (9) or the handle (6). Said other holding means (100) can be fastened to the lower pipe section (8) in such a way that the two detached pipe sections (8, 9) can be longitudinally mounted next to each other on the housing (2) in the parked position.
