[origin: WO2009049434A1] Disclosed is a warp knitting machine for producing at least one ribbon, comprising a knitting needle (8), warp thread placing elements that are associated therewith, and a weft bar (12) with at least one weft thread guide (14). In order to improve said warp knitting machine, the weft bar (12) is hingedly connected to rocker arms (20) on both sides such that the weft thread guide (14) follows a circular arc-shaped path (30) in order to insert the weft thread (6) at the knitting point.
