[origin: EP2208594A1] The method involves providing lignocelluloses and a small piece material, and blending the lignocelluloses and small piece material with an expandable graphite to a mixture. The mixture is glued with a binding unit, and the glued mixture is distributed to a particular single-mat. The mat is pressed to a wooden plate at elevated pressure and elevated temperature. The mat is formed as a single-layer, and the expandable graphite is distributed over an entire cross section of the mat. The wooden plate is provided with a coating.
