Abstract (en)

The machine (10) has a machine housing (11) receiving a strapping unit and including a processing table (12) for supporting a packing piece i.e. stack of newspaper, to be strapped. The machine housing is arranged on a vertically adjustable supporting frame (15), which is formed as a scissor lifting unit with cross bars (17, 18). The supporting frame is provided with a chassis, and the cross bars of the supporting frame are connected with each other by a cross bracket (16). The cross bars of the supporting frame are adjusted by a self-locked spindle drive.

Umreifungsmaschine (10) mit einem Maschinengehäuse (11), das einen Bearbeitungstisch zur Auflage eines zu umreifenden Packstückes aufweist. Um die Maschine in besonders einfacher Weise an die Größe verschiedener Bedienpersonen anpassen zu können, schlägt die Erfindung vor, dass das Maschinengehäuse auf einem höhenverstellbaren Traggestell (15) angeordnet ist, das vorzugsweise als Scherenhebebühne ausgebildet ist und sich stufenlos in der Höhe verstellen läst.
