Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2208890A2] The pump (2) has an accommodating chamber (4) in a pump housing (3), and rotary displacement elements (5, 6) e.g. hypotrochoid housing (10) and star-shaped internal rotary displacement element (15), accommodated in the chamber. A bypass enables a reverse flow of a pumped medium from an outlet region (27) into an inlet region (26) of the chamber. The elements and/or a swivel plate, connected with the elements, have an opposing surface limiting the bypass, where an opposing surface normal of the surface has a component aligned opposite to a periphery normal of a periphery (21) of the elements.
