[origin: WO2009060081A1] The present invention relates to a combined combine-harvester sifter (1) with slats (2, 2') for threshing maize in order to separate the maize into its individual plant constituents by means of a stream of air, said sifter being characterized in that the slats (2, 2') are configured in different sizes and are angled, with the size of the slats (2, 2') being determined such that grain maize and kernels of maize can be separated by a spindle part (Fig. 1).
