[origin: WO2009058101A1] Modular system and its components to build and operate an apparatus to collect or destroy mosquito eggs, larvae or pupae without an external energy source. The apparatus can be integrated into a building structure. The integration is done with a modular concept. The apparatus can be operated mechanically only with a water supply and comprises containers (1000), (1015), (1020), (1200) in (1000), which are connected by valves (1201 ), (1010), (1018), (1012) and regulated by floaters (1202), (1016), (1017). Container (1020) and (1040) are connected to the ovitrap (1060). When the ovitrap is emptied all water is collected in container (1030) and the water is pumped by the pump (1070) up in the container (1000) again.
