Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009049810A1] The application relates to a blood pressure meter (10) comprising a resistor (40), a first pressure sensor (30) which is provided on a first side of the resistor and is designed for connection to a flushing device (170), a second pressure sensor (50) which is provided on the second side of the resistor and which is designed for connection to a blood circuit, wherein the first pressure sensor, the resistor and the second pressure sensor are connected to one another in series, and the first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensor can be connected to a computing unit (60) which, by comparing the measured results from the first pressure sensor and second pressure sensor, permits a plausibility check.
