[origin: WO2009068783A2] This method of managing the operation of a motor vehicle as a function of the driving conditions of the vehicle during a journey towards a programmed destination comprises a step of determining driving parameters relative to the journey to be taken, a step of determining the position of the vehicle in the journey, and a step of calculating a drive energy management law (EML) as a function of the position of the vehicle in the journey and of the driving parameters. The step of calculating the energy management law additionally comprises a step of dynamically calculating a vehicle propulsion mode from various propulsion modes available during said journey, said dynamic calculation comprising a calculation of the route along said journey as a function of the driving parameters.
