Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2210988A2] The device has a sensor matrix i.e. optical electronic element, attached to an electronic controller (4) for contactlessly detecting body movements. An evaluation device compares a signal value output by the sensor matrix with a stored signal value that is associated to the body movements. A water level sensor is attached to the controller for detecting a cistern fill level, and a cover plate (6) e.g. semitransparent glass or plastic plate, is provided with a display device for displaying released flushing and the cistern fill level.
