[origin: EP2211434A1] The method involves generating a corona discharge between electrodes (41, 51, 61) and a treatment roller (3 '), where the electrodes are arranged in a distance from surrounding of the treatment roller and spaced at a distance from each other around a circumferential direction. The electrodes are attached to voltage generators (43, 53, 63), and the voltage gradients are adjusted together at the electrodes. The voltage generators are controlled such that the voltage at the electrodes runs in equal phase to each other. An independent claim is also included for a device for corona treatment of a web like material.
