[origin: GB2452724A] A drying apparatus comprises a fan 20, a chamber 30 downstream of the fan to receive blown air and a number of airflow outlets 36 leading from the chamber to provide outlet airflows for drying. Typically four or more outlets are provided and nozzles 34 are provided upstream of the outlets to accelerate the airflows. The plurality of outlet airflows provide very efficient drying. The air is not heated directly but does receive a not insignificant amount of heat due to the operation of the fan. In use, the drying unit operates efficiently without a heater and therefore the power rating of the dryer is low.
