[origin: WO2009053231A1] The present invention relates to a control device for a plastic processing machine, comprising a data processing device (30) connected to, among others, actuators, sensors, and an input and output device (10), wherein the data processing device comprises a processor connected to the input and output device for controlling the same, and the input and output device comprises a screen. In order to increase the ease of use and variability of the controls, the invention proposes that the screen is divided into a first screen area (14) and a second screen area, at least the second screen area thereof comprising a touch-sensitive surface, wherein the setup page (16) of the plastic-processing machine can be shown in the first screen area, and input elements (20-24) of a machine control keyboard can be shown in the second screen area, the method of display thereof depending on the available functions.
