[origin: WO2009062493A1] Multiplex grouping device for grouping sequentially fed articles (1), comprising - at least one loading station (8) with a feed sensor (81), - at least one unloading station (9) with a discharge sensor (91) and - at least two conveying means (2), wherein - the conveying means comprise a plurality of mechanically interconnected carriers (3) and each conveying means can be moved by a respective controllable drive (4) which can be activated by a central control means (6) via a respective speed controller (5) and - articles can be transferred onto the carriers from each loading station and - articles can be transferred from the carriers into each unloading station, wherein each conveying means - during transfer of an article from the loading station to one of its carriers, moves synchronously with the heat sensor and - during transfer of an article into the unloading station, moves synchronously with the discharge sensor and - between the transfer operations, accelerates and decelerates such that the spacing between two articles corresponds to the dimension predetermined by the grouping.
