[origin: WO2009066002A1] Protective cover (2) of a precast concrete member (1 ), which comprises a plastic part (2) to be installed at least partly on top of the precast concrete member. The invention is implemented so that the plastic part (2) is essentially U-shaped and elongated, and in that it can be installed on top of the edge, more particularly on top of the top edge, of the precast concrete member (1) essentially on the whole length of the edge such that the base (2') of the U sits above the edge and the flanks (2") of the U immediately against the sides of the member.
