[origin: WO2009068137A1] The invention relates to a guide apparatus (1) for a turbine wheel (2) of an exhaust gas turbocharger (3) having a turbine housing (1') and a bearing housing (1') between which the guide apparatus (1) may be disposed, said guide apparatus comprising two extensively annular sliding walls (5, 6) separated from one another by at least two distancing bolts (4) and disposed parallel to one another, between which at least one guide blade (7) is pivotally disposed, wherein the sliding wall (6) facing the bearing housing (1') may be bolted directly or indirectly to the bearing housing (1'). The design according to the invention extensively eliminates thermal deformation of the guide apparatus.
