[origin: EP2213342A1] The device has a kick strap length preadjusting unit made of semi-rigid plastic material. The preadjusting unit has a female strap (22) that cooperates with a male strap (23), and an adjustable connector connecting an end or lateral arm (22b) of the female strap with an end (23b) of the male strap. The end of male strap has a strap portion provided with indexing holes. The end of the female strap has a strap portion with a movable lock (24) that is provided with a locking projection cooperating with one of the indexing holes.
