[origin: EP2213414A2] The machine has a machine stand (11) with a crossbar (14), which forms a dual unit (10) with upper and lower grinding heads. Each head includes a grinding roller (12) and a tension roller (13), where an abrasive belt continuously extends around the rollers. A locking bar (17) is arranged between the stand and the grinding heads for locking the grinding heads. The locking bar is rotatably arranged at another crossbar (15) of the stand. The bar is fixedly clamped with a hydraulic cylinder at ends in a closed position. The bar allows access for exchange of the belt in an open position.
