Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2213796A2] The method involves loading a granular soil material (2) with a cleaning agent i.e. carbon dioxide dry ice (6). The carbon dioxide dry ice is applied under the pressure of the granular soil material, and is strained on a surface of the soil material in the form of pellets. The soil material is dried by a dryer (4) i.e. heat collector, before cleaning, and compressed air is supplied during application of the carbon dioxide dry ice. The dryer is provided above an upper conveyor belt (1), and the soil material is provided to the upper conveyor belt. An independent claim is also included for a device for performing a method for cleaning a granular soil material.
