[origin: WO2009071178A1] The present invention relates to a fastening device (10), particularly for sanitary equipment hung on the wall, comprising: an elongated element (11) for fastening the sanitary equipment (12) to a retaining bracket (13) of the sanitary equipment (12), wherein said element can be positioned in a continuous and substantially vertically provided insertion hole (14) via an upper part (15) of the sanitary equipment (12) in the operating configuration. The elongated element (11) at the first end section thereof comprises a screw nut (28) that is suitable for receiving a fastening screw (29) of the lid holder (16). At the second end section thereof, a thread shaft (19) is provided, which can be screwed onto the retaining bracket (13), wherein the elongated element (11) furthermore comprises an outer shoulder (17) abutting an inner shoulder (18) provided in the insertion hole (14). The invention further comprises a sleeve (21) counteracting the contact between the elongated element (11) and the sanitary equipment (12) and sliding in-between in at least one section of the insertion hole (14) comprising the inner shoulder (18). The insertion hole (14) is located between the fastening hole for the lid and a possible second hole, which in provided at a position adjoining said insertion hole.
