[origin: EP2056565A1] The method involves transmitting an unpredictable message from a remote server (30) to a computer (20), and establishing communication between the server and a terminal e.g. mobile telephone (40), of a user (10). The server is authenticated at the terminal, and the terminal is authenticated at the server. The user is invited to enter the message into the terminal, and the entered message is transmitted to the server by using the terminal. The user is authenticated in the server in case of consistency of the entered message in the terminal with the unpredictable message.
