The furniture has a drawer (28) arranged under a rectangular table top (10) supported by a frame (16). The drawer includes a supply and/or communication connector for connecting a notebook-connecting cable of a notebook accommodated in the drawer, where the notebook-connecting cable is accommodated in the drawer. The supply and/or communication connector is connected to a corresponding table furniture-connecting cable, where the supply and/or communication connector is connected to corresponding supply or communication connector of a building via the table furniture-connecting cable. The supply and/or communication connector of the drawer is selected from one of power supply connector, Internet connector and data network connector.

Es wird ein Tischmöbel vorgeschlagen, das eine Tischplatte (10), ein die Tischplatte (10) tragendes Gestell (16) und eine in Höhenrichtung des Tischmöbels unter der Tischplatte (10) angeordnete Schublade (28), die in einer Schubladenführung (26) in einer Richtung quer zu einer Hauptbenutzungsrichtung (14) des Tischmöbels zwischen einer Nichtgebrauchsstellung unterhalb der Tischplatte (10) und einer Gebrauchsstellung zumindest teilweise neben der Tischplatte (10) bewegbar ist, aufweist. Die Schublade (28) und die Schubladenführung (26) sind derart ausgebildet und dimensioniert, dass in der Nichtgebrauchsstellung der Schublade (28) ein zugeklapptes Notebook (36) darin aufgenommen werden kann und in der Gebrauchsstellung der Schublade (28) ein aufgeklapptes Notebook (36) darin aufgenommen und benutzt werden kann. Ferner weist die Schublade (28) wenigstens einen Versorgungs- und/oder Kommunikationsanschluss (40) zum Anschließen von entsprechenden Notebook-Verbindungsleitungen (42) des in der Schublade (28) aufgenommenen Notebooks (36) auf, wobei die Notebook-Verbindungsleitungen (42) ebenfalls in der Schublade (28) aufgenommen werden können. Der wenigstens eine Versorgungs- und/oder Kommunikationsanschluss (40) der Schublade (28) ist dabei mit entsprechenden Tischmöbel-Verbindungsleitungen verbunden, über welche der wenigstens eine Versorgungs- und/oder Kommunikationsanschluss (40) an entsprechende Versorgungs- bzw. Kommunikationsanschlüsse eines Gebäudes angeschlossen werden kann.
