[origin: EP2216174A2] The method involves guiding a print substrate which coats a surface of the print substrate with a lacquer coat. A gap (12) comprises a paint guiding cylinder (2) with a dosing device (9) and an impression cylinder (5). The print substrate is coated with ultraviolet paint in the gap, where unpolymerized lacquer coat is located on the surface of the print substrate which is embossed in another gap (13). An independent claim is also included for a device for coating and embossing a print substrate in a processing machine.
