Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2216516A1] The compressor has a casing insert (10) arranged radially outside the compressor impeller (1). The casing insert has a wall contour (11) which delimits the flow channel such that casing insert abuts the axial stop of the outer compressor casing. A flexible structure (12) transfers axial forces from the insert wall contour to the outer compressor casing and has two ribs (14) that are axially oriented and arranged in an offset manner in relation to each other. A support ring (13) interconnects the ribs of the flexible ring while oriented at an angle to the axial direction between the ribs.
