Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2216603A2] The device has a housing with openings, where smoke and vapor are sucked into the housing via the openings. Covers are associated to the respective openings and close the respective openings. A drive (1) e.g. electrical stepper motor, opens and closes the openings using the covers. Pins (2), a radial thread hole (3), a roller, a transverse pin (6), a shaft (7) and a spring couple the drive with the covers. An automatic torque-changeable safety coupling (C) e.g. friction coupling, decouples the covers from the drive during opening and closing of the openings.
