The method involves generating a measuring signal by a generator unit and modulating the measuring signal through a hearing device prior to or during emission, where the measuring signal is a measuring signal for an open-loop gain (OLG) measurement. The acoustically emitted, modulated measuring signal is detected through the hearing device in different frequency bands based on the modulation. The modulation takes place through the use of amplitude modulation or by reducing the amplitude to zero and by adding signal gaps, or through the use of phase modulation and/or frequency modulation. An independent claim is also included for a hearing device for acoustically emitting and detecting a measuring signal.

Die Erfindung gibt eine Vorrichtung und ein zugehöriges Verfahren zur Verbesserung des Signal-Rausch-Verhältnisses eines von einem Hörgerät (1) abgegebenen und erfassten Messsignals an. Die Vorrichtung umfasst - eine Generatoreinheit (8) zum Erzeugen eines Messsignals, - eine Modulationseinheit (12) zum Modulieren des Messsignals vor oder bei Abgabe derart, dass das erfasste Messsignal entsprechend dem erzeugten Messsignal moduliert ist, und - eine Erfassungseinheit (13) zum Erfassen des Messsignals anhand der Modulation. Dadurch wird das Ergebnis einer Messung, beispielsweise eine OLG-Messung, von äußeren Störeinflüssen unabhängiger und das Signal-Rausch-Verhältnis erhöht.
