[origin: WO2009051481A2] A cultivation arrangement 1 comprises a tray 3 open at the top 5, containing perfoliate compost 7 covered by a layer of casing soil 23, and a tray-like Hd 9 which is open at the bottom 11 and is pushed over the tray 3. The lid 9 is provided with locking means 25 which lock the lid in raised position against sliding downwards, and further locking means 27 which support a raised plate13. This plate 13 functions as a water reservoir 29 which is connected to the space19 above the compost 7 covered by casing soil 23 and present in the tray. The top 35 of the lid has an opening 39 which can be closed by a cap 37 and through which the reservoir can be filled with water.
