[origin: WO2009071380A1] The invention relates to release test device and a method for automatically releasing and measuring active ingredients of a pharmaceutical preparation, comprising one or more release unit(s), each comprising one or more test station(s) having test containers for accommodating release samples, stirrers that are associated with the test stations for stirring the release samples, and one or more means for heating the test containers, and a computer unit, wherein the release test device further comprises at least one program-controlled industrial robot having at least one gripper, and the release unit(s) and means for storing the release samples to be tested and/or the tools of the industrial robot are disposed within reach of the industrial robot.
