Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2218516A2] The device has a glue coating part i.e. thrust bearing, arranged in a housing (4). A supply line (43) is connected with the housing for guiding glue to the housing or to the glue coating part. A flow blocking device is provided in the supply line such that the flow or return flow of glue guided into the supply line is avoided or controlled. Another flow blocking device is provided in a discharge line (45) such that the flow or return flow of the glue guided into the discharge line is avoided or controlled. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a device for coating glue on material strips for tobacco processing industry.
