[origin: EP2218561A1] An assembly removes a spiral strip from fruit or hard vegetables such as apple, radish, carrot, beet or cucumber. The cutting assembly case is essentially a cone, funnel enclosing a cutting blade adjacent to a strip release gap. The case consists of two cones placed end-to-end and linked by a hole (12). Each has a blade (14, 15) and a gap, the gaps being of different size.
