Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a device for transferring objects from a first location at sea to a second location, in particular the crew of an offshore platform. The device comprises at least one lifting means and a transport means, with the proviso that the transport means comprises floating means and can be self-propelled, and the transport means comprises coupling means for coupling to the lifting means. Objects can be transferred in safe and efficient manner using the device.
