Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2218982A2] The method involves using an evaporator (1) for evaporating water from aqueous refrigerant. An absorber (2) is used for absorbing the evaporated water in a solvent. The solvent is pumped from the absorber to a desorber (4) by a solvent pump (3). The desorber is used to expel the absorbed water from the solvent by supplying heat. The expelled water is supplied to a resorber (27), where a solution of water and antifreeze agent is accommodated in the resorber. The solution of water and antifreeze agent is led into the evaporator for evaporating the water from the solution. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an absorption refrigerating machine comprising a sensor arrangement (2) a system for producing food with a cooking device, comprising an ice storage unit.
