The refrigerator has at least two compartments (2, 3) for storage of food at different temperature, with the evaporator (5) of the higher-temperature compartment (3) connected to the compression side of a compressor (6), and with a second path passing through the evaporator (4) of the other compartment. The evaporator of the higher-temperature compartment is located after that of the lower-temperature one in the coolant circuit.

Ein Kältegerät hat wenigstens zwei für verschiedene Lagertemperaturen ausgelegte Fächer (2, 3) und einen Kältemittelkreislauf, in dem ein erster Weg von einem Druckanschluss eines Verdichters (6) über einen Verdampfer (5) des wärmeren Fachs (3) zu einem Sauganschluss des Verdichters (6) und ein zweiter Weg von dem Druckanschluss über einen Verdampfer (4) des kälteren Fachs (2) zu dem Sauganschluss verläuft: Der Verdampfer (5) des wärmeren Fachs (3) ist auf dem zweiten Weg dem Verdampfer (4) des kälteren Fachs (2) nachgeschaltet.
