[origin: EP2218992A2] The device has a door (7) attached to a body (1) and combined with the body to limit a storage compartment (3). A sliding carriage (6) slides into the body in depth direction. A coupling mechanism (11) is provided between the sliding carriage and the door to hold the carriage at a position outside the storage compartment when the door is opened and at a position inside the storage compartment when the door is closed. The coupling mechanism is attached between a refrigerated product carrier (9) of the carriage and a base of the body.
