[origin: EP2219271A1] The device (32) has a plug element (18) arranged at a part (12) i.e. upper housing component, of an electronic assembly (10), and a counter plug element (16) arranged at another part (26) i.e. lower housing component, of the assembly. The plug element and/or the counter plug element is mounted opposite to either of the parts in a vertical or horizontal direction perpendicular to a plug direction (62) by a bearing (64) in a floating manner. A zero-position of the plug element and/or the counter plug element is defined by pre-loading of the bearing in the vertical or horizontal direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a plug connection device.
