Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009065599A1] Sealing cap (4, 5) for an applicator head (20) of a media container (22) with a dosing pump (21) insertable in a sealed manner into a container neck (6) for suctioning from the media container (22) and dispensing of medium by a pump stroke actuated by operation of the applicator head (20), comprising a lower part (4) attachable to the container neck (6), which is releasably latched to an upper part (5), wherein the lower part (4) has a number of locking edges (9) distributed around one outer side with a stop (17) and having on one inner side snap-latches (10) distributed around the perimeter, and the upper part (5) is formed like a protective cap with an edge section (40) covering the lower part (4) for latching, said edge section having locking edges (11) distributed on the perimeter of one inner side and which can engage in and behind the locking edges (9) and also a molded-on, spring-like locking arm (12) with a locking edge, wherein the locking edge can snap behind one snap-latch (10) by forward rotation of the upper part (5) on the lower part (4) and can be released by backward rotation of the upper part (5) by pivoting the locking arm (12) radially inward.
