Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009080656A1] The invention relates to a device for holding lines in an aircraft, comprising at least one line inlet, at least one line outlet and at least one housing chamber for holding at least one section of a line piece extending between the line inlet and the line outlet. Said line piece has a length that is equal to or greater than the clearance between the relevant line inlet and line outlet, and the housing chamber comprises means for detachably maintaining and for reverserably shortening or lengthening a line end that protrudes from the line inlet and/or the line outlet. The claimed devices mean that individually shortened wiring for connecting rows of passenger seats that can be reconfigured is no longer required as the device according to the invention makes available or takes up excessive lengths of line depending on the position of the row of passenger seats.
