Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2221409A1] The device (3) has a presser foot shaft formed on a base part to attach the device to a presser foot bar of a sewing machine. A tool holder is located on the base part for holding a textile or non-textile sheet material processing tool i.e. textile marker (5). The tool holder is equipped with a coupling device for contacting a transmission element (11) on a needle bar (9). The tool holder is equipped with a leg connected to another leg with a fixed or adjustable inclination angle. An independent claim is also included for a method for processing a textile or non-textile sheet material with a tool on a sewing machine.
