Abstract (en)
The oven has a muffle (2) for surrounding a baking chamber (3), and a heat coupling unit e.g. fan impeller (6), drive (15), and wall (18), for selectively coupling the muffle with a super-coolable latent heat-storage unit (12). An initiator triggers a phase change of the heat-storage unit from a phase condition into another phase condition. The heat-storage unit is brought into the former phase condition by heat of the muffle, where the heat is again brought to the muffle from the heat-storage unit when the heat-storage unit is changed into the latter phase condition.

Ein Backoffen ist mit einem Latentwärmespeicher (12) ausgestattet, der nach Ende des Backvorgangs mit der Restwärme des Muffelbereichs erwärmt und in einen ersten (höheren) Phasenzustand gebracht wird. Danach wird der Latentwärmespeicher (12) auf Raumtemperatur unterkühlt. Zu Beginn des nächsten Backvorgangs wird ein Initiator (13) betätigt, der den Übergang des Latentwärmespeichers (12) in einen zweiten (tieferen) Phasenzustand einleitet. Die dabei abgegebene latente Wärme wird dem Backraum zugeführt. Dadurch kann die Effizienz des Geräts verbessert werden.
