[origin: WO2009071847A1] The invention relates to an alloy characterised in that it comprises the following elements, the proportions being expressed in weight percent of the alloy: Cr 23 to 34%, Ti 0.2 to 5%, Ta 0.5 to 7%, C 0.2 to 1.2%, Ni less than 5%, Fe less than 3%, Si less than 1%, Mn less than 0.5%, the balance consisting of cobalt and unavoidable impurities. The invention also relates to an article for producing mineral wool, in particular a fibre-forming plate, made of such an alloy.
