[origin: WO2009074144A1] When coloring tubular fabrics, the hose (1) continuously passes through an impregnating trough comprising a coloring liquor and then through a reducing device (10). In the reducing device, the hose is temporarily post-drained in the expanded state thereof having an open cross-section. To this end, the hose (1) in the flat and expanded shape thereof is guided toward the reducing device (10) with a closed cross-section and guided out again also in this shape. The flat expanded hose (1) is located in the same plane when entering the reducing device (10) and when exiting the same. Thereafter, the flat expanded hose passes through a smoothing section, which should be at least 20% of the length of the reducing device (10). The reducing device can be both a circular squeezing device in the manner of a circular expander or a circular expander having a circular suction nozzle. By specifically setting the residual moisture when exiting the reducing device, and through the measures of hose guidance described, a gentle coloring method is achieved, through which the textile material as a whole passes in the hose shape in a single continuous method. The pad steam method is particularly suited for fixation purposes. The entire process duration is considerably shortened by the proposed method.
