Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009065394A1] The invention relates to a blower arrangement for turbo machines consisting of at least one, preferably, spiral-shaped housing (20) and at least one impeller (10) that is rotationally mounted about a rotational axis (90) and that is accommodated in the housing (20). Said housing (20) comprises at least one first inflow chamber (60, 280) and at least one second outflow chamber (50, 290). Advantageously, the inflow chamber (60, 280) and the second outflow chamber (50, 290) are separated from each other by means of at least one housing wall section (760a - 760c). The outer edge of the at least one housing wall section (760a - 760c), that points to the impeller (10) forms a grip lip (40). The housing wall section (760a - 760c) extends in the direction of the inflow chambers (50, 290) and comprises at least one radial component (17, 310). Alternatively or additionally the first inflow chamber (60, 280) and the second outflow chamber (50, 290) can be offset in an axially manner at least in parts in relation to the rotational axis (90) and partially overlap at least in the region of the impeller (10).
