Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2925643A1] The device has inner and outer cores (5, 6) connected respectively with fixed and rotating bodies (2, 3) of a main bearing. An annular space (7), in which a magnetic encoder (1) is linked with the core (5), is formed between the cores. The core (6) is realized in non-magnetic material so as to permit reading signals issued by the encoder. A sealing element (8) is connected with the core (5) to seal a side of the space. The sealing element comprises sealing rings (9a, 9b), which are arranged in friction radial contact with a free axial face (6a) of the core (6). An independent claim is also included for an antifriction bearing assembly comprising a sensor system with a magnetic encoder.
